After presiding over hundreds of ceremonies during his more than 35-year career, Dr. Schenck has crafted every type of ceremony--from elaborate to simple, formal to casual, religious to secular, chapel to poolside--and he's seen everything that can go right--and wrong--and he'll put that hard-earned wisdom to use for your benefit! Dr. Schenck is warm, personable, and passionate about his work. He enjoys people--and has been well-trained to take good care of them. He is an ordained pastor with degrees in religion, ministry, and strategic leadership and is authorized to legally solemnize marriages in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and West Virginia. He is both a pastoral care and a certified mental health coach. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, for 46 years.
