My journey into the enchanting realm of weddings and events began as I worked as an assistant to the event planner at a country club (shout out to Kevin!) who taught me a lot of what I know today about wedding and event planning. I even called him after I graduated college and was running my first ceremony for tips! My experience continued as I worked at a sports and entertainment arena, a bakery, a hotel, The Knot (yes, the big wedding magazine!) and a few corporate event positions. I assisted countless couples in bringing their visions to life while working within these jobs. Being a part of such a joyous and significant chapter in people’s lives fueled my love for social event planning.
