Grand Jour

Grand Jour’s story began in 2019 when filmmaker and photographer Simon Bonneau relocated to Asheville, North Carolina from his home near Nantes, France. Simon attended film school in Nantes with a focus in cinematography and soon after he began touring as a videographer and photographer with musicians. Aside from running Grand Jour, Simon also works on music videos, documentaries, brands identity, and street photography. Grand Jour is French for “big day” and was started to document life’s big moments so that they may exist eternally as digital heirlooms. While the majority of our work encompasses weddings, we will capture any of your big days and are not bound by a specific formula or type of event. Whether it’s your wedding, a new addition to your family, or a legacy you want documentation of, we want to help.
