In her former life, she delivered the Washington Post in Delaware! Captain Cookie and his talented friends spent over a year transforming her into a mobile bakery with running water, dipping freezer, and a professional bakery oven. That’s right – we bake right on the truck, so our cookies are always freshly baked – in fact, many times they’re still hot from the oven! Cookie 2 worked for many years in Flint, Michigan hauling plumbing supplies. Before getting her cookie truck makeover, she sat for several years in a driveway. The Captain’s Cookies Captain Cookie made his first cookie at age four and has been obsessed ever since. His unique recipe for chocolate chip cookies is the result of twenty-plus years of tinkering and testing. While on the quest for perfection, he also developed a handful of knockout recipes for the cookies featured on the truck. To say these cookies are handmade is an understatement. When Captain Cookie makes a Pumpkin Muffaroon, he personally roasts the pumpkins and sweet potatoes to make the most flavorful mash. Our vegan chocolate chip cookies are extraordinary because Captain Cookie makes his own vegan butter from scratch. There’s a secret ingredient that makes the peanut butter cookies so soft, and the snickerdoodles…well, we can’t give everything away!
